I'm a socially motivated designer, an art museum explorer, and a Chinese adoptee advocate. I was raised with three other adopted Chinese sisters in Montgomery County, PA where we learned both American and Chinese cultures. I recently graduated from Tyler School of Art and Architecture and studied Graphic and Interactive Design with Entrepreneurial Studies. I am thankful for my experiences studying at Tyler because I learned a variety of different design programs and became interested in UX/UI designs. My fondest memories as a student are studying abroad in Rome for a semester and traveling to different museums in Italy and Paris while juggling two international internships.
My dream job is to design exhibitions about international topics and advocate for people of minorities. In addition, I want to work with people studying English as their second language because I understand how communication can be a barrier and a bridge. My experience teaching and working with people who speak multiple languages, benefit from my abilities to listen, ask questions, and design complex projects. The leadership skills I gained from my work experience abroad and in Philadelphia taught me many lessons about the business of design. I would love to work with you to help bring your ideas to life.
